Guess who else Yuri Lowenthal voices besides Ben? Sasuke Uchiha. This isn't the first time John DiMaggio has voiced an obsessed military man. Of course, last time he was in that situation, he was on the other side of things. Not to mention Yuri Lowenthal's character failing to trust someone who has gone over to the side of evil. Greg Cipes' character turning into a psychotic monster?. Greg Cipes' and Ashley Johnson's characters not getting along with Tara Strong's character initially? It's Beast Boy, Terra, and Raven all over again. Not to mention Tara Platt voicing the actress who he enters into a relationship with note They're married in real life. Yuri's in a final instalment of a supernatural series, huh?. Yuri Lowenthal voicing a character getting an alien that can dig through dirt with ease? Nah, it's probably just a coincidence. 
Accidental Misnaming: Charmcaster tells Darkstar that her real name is Hope, but Darkstar doesn't remember it instead calling her "Heather", "Hilary", "Heidi", etc. He admits he was actually aiming for her head. Accidental Aiming Skills: Rath grabs a piece of debris and makes a precision strike that knocks out Rojo's hoverbike. In Omniverse, Captain Nemesis is back to his original face and personality, he's no longer involved with Jennifer, and Jennifer has resumed her acting career. Viktor again with Zs'Skayr being shown devouring the king's soul, reviving the original Viktor, Elena will cameo as herself toward the end of the series with no explanation as to how she was freed of the nano chips' influence (thought it will be shown in a graphic novel ◊, and Charmcaster will never go by her true name again and will never escape the Heel≯ace Revolving Door.
Aborted Arc: Three arcs that progress here (the lingering threat of King Viktor, the redemption journey of Charmcaster (whose true name is Hope), and the possession of Elena Validus by the Hive nano chips) will sadly ( or not for those who disliked them) never see their conclusion due to Dwanye McDuffie passing away and the people in charge of the following series saying they have no interest in continuing them. It also had a rather well-received Crossover episode with other Man of Action Studios series Generator Rex, Ben 10/Generator Rex: Heroes United. It was still notable, however, for two major Author's Saving Throws: giving an explanation for Kevin's change of personality between the original series and Alien Force, and turning back the badly decayed Vilgax and Forever Knights into credible threats. It was generally viewed as too similar to Alien Force to even be considered as a separate series, and it is usually rather seen as a continuation of the previous one the only major changes it brought to the franchise were Ben starting to use a new Omnitrix and his identity being revealed to the world, confirming further his evolution as a Living Legend in-universe.
Much like its predecessor, Ultimate Alien had a controversial reception and maintained the Broken Base amongst the fans. The second season is mostly made of filler episodes, but there are some episodes that link into the third season's story arc involving an Eldritch Abomination named Diagon linked to the past of the Forever Knights.
